Ms. Schulz’s Advanced Humanities Class wrapped up 2025 with independent research projects on elements of Jewish Culture. After studying the Holocaust for the semester, students researched Jewish Life in the forms of Holidays and Traditions, Jewish Food & Drink, and Jewish Fashion & Music. Each student taught her element to the class.

Tonight's double header for boys and girls JV and Varsity basketball teams has been POSTPONED. More information on game rescheduling will be shared soon.

We will only be running SHUTTLES this afternoon, Friday, December 19, no rural routes. Drop off in Crystal will be at 3:25PM, Hoople at 3:50PM, and Edinburg at 3:50PM.

Tonight's JH girls basketball game against North Border in Walhalla has been CANCELLED. We will keep you updated throughout the day on all weather-related announcements.

Valley-Edinburg School and buses will be running 2 hours late tomorrow, December 19, due to icy road conditions. ONLY SHUTTLES will be running between the towns, picking up at 9:45 in Crystal, 9:40 in Edinburg, and 10AM in Hoople. Bus drop off will run normally after school. Student drivers are encouraged to ride our shuttles to school to avoid unnecessary driving on icy roads. No morning ESP.

There will be NO SCHOOL tomorrow, Thursday, December 18, at Valley-Edinburg School. All activities and practices have been cancelled. Tonight's 7-12 grade Christmas Concert has been rescheduled to Friday morning at 11AM in Edinburg.

Our 5th and 6th grade students were excited to receive their pen pal letters from the Philippines this week! 📬🌏 This project is a wonderful opportunity for cultural learning and global connections, and we look forward to all the learning and growth it will bring.

Reminder that children attending Valley-Edinburg home games must remain in the gym or in the cafeteria throughout the duration of the games. Children are NOT allowed to play in the hallways or be unsupervised in the school buildings during home games. Please monitor your child's behavior for his or her own safety and for the safety of others. We appreciate your cooperation.

School and buses will be 2 HOURS LATE tomorrow, Wednesday, December 10. There will be no morning ESP or morning practices. We will be running ONLY SHUTTLE bus service tomorrow (no rural routes). Shuttle pick up will be no later than 9:45AM in Crystal, 9:40AM in Edinburg, and 10AM in Hoople. Please make sure your student is on time for pickup. School start time will be 10:29AM in Edinburg and Crystal and 10:09AM in Hoople.

School and buses will be DISMISSED EARLY today, Tuesday, December 9. Hoople and Edinburg shuttles will depart for Crystal at 12:15, and all rural routes will leave from Crystal at 12:30. All students will eat lunch in their buildings before dismissal. Again, all after school activities and ESP are CANCELLED.
