Our elementary girls basketball team had their team night out on Friday with pizza party at the McIntyre and going to the home football game together!.....a HUGE thank you to our VE Boosters for sponsoring this event and giving us the opportunity!

They will also participate in Building Tomorrow’s Leaders Jr. through NDSU, with opportunities to build leadership skills, practice teamwork, and explore ways to serve their school and community.

Our Preschool and Kinder friends went to Icelandic State Park this week for fun , hiking and exploring!
Learning beyond the classroom! Our 6th graders attended Eco Ed at Icelandic State Park, connecting their learning to the natural world and exploring the importance of caring for our environment. A great opportunity for our Titans to learn outdoors! 🌳

Our 4th grade students are participating in a program called “On the Move to Stronger Bodies” with NDSU and these are their Cow Banks that will hold their Moo Money for their Moo Mart! They earn fake money by tracking healthy eating ⭐️

Club Day at Crystal was all about student choice! 🎉 Students chose from LEGOs, Trust Dodgeball, Bingo, Bracelet Making, and Art, giving them a chance to explore their interests and enjoy activities that spark their creativity and excitement. We love giving our Titans opportunities to create, connect, and try something new!
Building strong readers, one sound at a time! Mrs. Hall, our academic interventionist, teaches UFLI daily to our kindergarten through second-grade students. UFLI provides structured practice with letter sounds, blending, reading, and spelling to help students build a strong foundation in literacy. Students are using Reading Mastery, a structured reading program that provides explicit, step-by-step instruction to help build strong foundational reading skills. Through lots of practice and repetition, students work on letter sounds, blending sounds together, recognizing words, building vocabulary, and developing reading fluency and comprehension.
These kindergarten readers are already learning that becoming a strong reader takes practice, focus, and lots of trying! We are proud of their hard work! ⭐
