Our 3rd grade classroom has been lucky to receive some wonderful donations of gently used books, toys, building blocks, and games! These items are getting a second life in our classroom and are perfect for indoor recess due to rain or cold weather! A big THANK YOU to those who have donated! 💙

Our 2nd grade Titans had a fantastic day at Full STEAM Ahead in Grand Forks! 🚀🔧 Students enjoyed a hands-on day filled with building, creating, exploring, and discovering! Through engaging activities, they put their creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to work.

Our students participate in U-Time lessons as part of BARR—Building Assets, Reducing Risks. These lessons give students and teachers time to connect, discover one another’s strengths, and build a supportive classroom community. Here are our 5th graders engaging in Circle Time!
Research on the broader BARR model that we implement at VE Schools from Preschool through 6th grade has shown improvements in student achievement and reductions in course failures. U-Time supports this approach by making relationship-building an intentional part of our school week. We want every Titan to feel known, valued, and supported!

Our elementary girls basketball team had their team night out on Friday with pizza party at the McIntyre and going to the home football game together!.....a HUGE thank you to our VE Boosters for sponsoring this event and giving us the opportunity!
🌟 Introducing our Crystal Intermediate Student Council Members! These students were voted on by their peers and will serve as leaders in our school by representing their classmates, setting a positive example, and helping plan activities that bring our school together.
They will also participate in Building Tomorrow’s Leaders Jr. through NDSU, with opportunities to build leadership skills, practice teamwork, and explore ways to serve their school and community.

Our Preschool and Kinder friends went to Icelandic State Park this week for fun , hiking and exploring!
Learning beyond the classroom! Our 6th graders attended Eco Ed at Icelandic State Park, connecting their learning to the natural world and exploring the importance of caring for our environment. A great opportunity for our Titans to learn outdoors! 🌳
